History
Talon Games has been in the adventure game industry since 1996 and was the brainchild of Jon Walker. Starting with the release of the BattleHex Terrain System that same year, our focus has always been to design a quality product and provide outstanding service to our customers in the United States and around the world.
Our first foray into game design came in 2000 with the release of the Cry H.A.V.I.C. game system and associated miniatures. A finalist in the 2001 Origins Awards for Best New Miniature Game, Cry H.A.V.I.C. was both a critical and economical success for the company.
In 2004, Talon Games entered into an all-new arena, rapid-prototyping. This process allows us to design new figures on the computer and "print" out a three-dimensional model for production, greatly decreasing time and cost. Besides producing figures for our own game systems, we have also produced figures for many of the top miniature companies in the industry.
With this new capability we have been hard at work with a follow-up to our first game system. In 2007 our fans and customers will see the first release in a series of sci-fi games set in our Armored Might Universe, Rogue Legion.
We hope that everyone will have as much fun playing these new games as we have had designing and producing them!

Shipping Information
All shipping in the contiguous United States is by UPS to valid addresses only. Customer orders in Alaska, Puerto Rico, Hawaii and APO military addresses as well as Canada are shipped by USPS Priority Mail. We do not ship to PO Boxes or any international addresses. Orders are processed and shipped on most occasions the following business day after receiving the order. Talon Games is not responsible for any taxes or fees levied by local customs officials.
Faster delivery options are available by calling Talon Games direct and placing your order by phone. Additional shipping charges will apply.

An additional 10% shipping fee (based on the full retail value of your order) will be added to the above shipping rates. Please note our shopping cart does not automatically figure that into your order at this time. If you are paying by check or money order, make sure you add this to the amount you are sending.

Address Corrections
Please make sure to include any address information we need to insure the proper delivery of your package. Make sure the address you have entered is in the correct format and is recognized by the USPS. Any additional charges incurred due to missing or bad address information is the responsibility of the customer and will be charged accordlingly and may result in the delay of your package(s) being delivered.

Return Policy and Questions
Talon Games is committed to providing you the best possible customer service and 100% customer satisfaction. If you purchased your products directly from us, you may return your purchase to us within 30 days of receipt for a 100% refund of your purchase price (less the original shipping & handling fee) and the products(s) are in a resaleable condition. Please include your original order number and a return address and please take whatever steps you feel are necessary to insure that the package arrives safely to Talon Games. We are not responsible for the loss or damage of any products being returned to us during transit.

If you purchased the item at another business, any exchanges or returns for non-defective products must be conducted with that reseller.
If your product is defective, Talon Games will exchange the unit with an identical replacement. Please direct your inquiries to custserv@talon-games.com or call 316.322.3029.

Using Gift Certificates
From time to time, Talon Games will provide gift certificates to special events for prizes. These certificates can only be redeemed through Talon Games directly. To redeem these certificates they must be mailed in to us with the order.
You can do this one of two ways:
(1) Print out a .pdf version of our mail order form (download here), fill out the order form and mail to the address indicated on the form along with any prize certificates and any funds still owed. Please note that gift certificates cannot be used for shipping and handling fees.
(2) Complete your order through our online store and when checking out select "Paying by Check" for your payment mode. When it asks for your check number, type in "1234". Follow the directions on your order receipt for where to mail in any remaining payment due and your gift certificate(s). Make sure to deduct the amount of your gift certificate from the final order amount. Please note that gift certificates cannot be used for shipping and handling fees.

Talon Games is committed to protecting the privacy of its customers.

Personal Information
Talon Games may collect personally identifiable information such as name, postal address, telephone number, e-mail address, institution affiliation, credit card number, checking account number, or date of birth through various activities. This personal information is collected and used by Talon Games for the purpose of facilitating a relationship or business transaction.
The Talon Games website resides behind a firewall and uses SSL (Secure Sockets Layer, the industry-standard security protocol used to communicate with browsers) to transmit personal information. Data is strongly encrypted during transmission to ensure that personal and payment information is secure. Industry-standard data encryption techniques are used to protect personal information on Talon Games computers. SSL-capable browsers typically have a symbol on the browser window to indicate when they are in a secure mode. In addition, the URL will begin with "https:" for all browsers.

E-mail
Talon Games does not sell or rent e-mail addresses to other organizations. Talon Games may generate e-mail for the following types of communication:
- Notification e-mail to which the individual may subscribe and unsubscribe.
- Transactional e-mail, which is the result of a business transaction initiated with Talon Games.
- Relationship e-mail, which is sent as an informational service because of a relationship with Talon Games.
- Commercial e-mail, which is sent to promote a Talon Games product or service (You may opt not to receive this type of e-mail).
- Correspondence from Talon Games staff as a result of a communication initiated by a customer.
E-mail that has a provision for opt-out will include instructions on how to do so. All inquiries regarding subscription-based e-mails should be directed to the Talon Games Customer Services Department (see Contact Information).

Mailing Lists
Postal mailing list’s will not be sold to other organizations. Talon Games may occasionally send informational or promotional materials to customers. You may choose to exclude yourself from mailings by contacting the Talon Games Customer Services Department (see Contact Information).

Third-party Agents
Talon Games uses third-party agents for several business purposes, including credit card validation and shipping. These agents are permitted to use your personal information only to provide Talon Games with a specific service and not for any other purpose. Please contact the Talon Games Customer Service Department (see Contact Information) if you believe this policy has been violated. Talon Games makes every effort to preserve your privacy, but we may need to disclose personal information when required by law. Talon Games may also disclose personal information if it believes in good faith that such action is necessary.

Non-personal Information
Non-personal information is collected behind the scenes by the Talon Games web server and is used to compile general website usage statistics or facilitate access to restricted website services. Such information includes:
